Engineered for mission-critical thermal monitoring, our 0.2mm High Sensitivity Type E Thermocouple Wire provides the highest thermoelectric EMF output among standard base-metal thermocouple alloys. Manufactured from balanced Chromel (Nickel-Chromium positive leg) and Constantan (Copper-Nickel negative leg) alloys, this fine-gauge wire ensures exceptional signal resolution, rapid thermal response, and long-term signal stability across temperature ranges from -200°C to +900°C.

The 0.2mm High Sensitivity Type E Thermocouple Wire is developed specifically for engineers and sensor manufacturers requiring maximum EMF output per degree Celsius (approximately 68 µV/°C at 0°C). This ultra-fine diameter ensures minimal heat sinking and rapid response times, making it ideal for micro-sensor assemblies, cryogenic research, laboratory instrumentation, and aerospace thermal profiling.
Produced through vacuum induction melting, precision multi-pass cold drawing, and continuous bright annealing, our Type E alloy pairs exhibit uniform metallurgical consistency, tight diameter tolerances, and clean surface finishes without surface oxidation or micro-cracking.

Highest Thermoelectric Sensitivity (~68 µV/°C)
Generates maximum EMF output among standard base-metal thermocouples, enabling sub-degree resolution and superior signal-to-noise ratio in precision sensor transmitters.
Cryogenic to High-Temperature Stability (-200°C to +900°C)
Delivers excellent linearity and chemical stability in cryogenic systems down to -200°C, with robust oxidation resistance up to +900°C.
Ultra-Fine 0.20mm Gauge for Instant Thermal Response
Low thermal mass profile ensures ultra-fast response times for micro-probes, semiconductor profiling, and compact sensor assemblies.
Precision Diameter Tolerance & EMF Homogeneity
Diamond-die cold drawing guarantees tight concentricity (±0.004 mm) and uniform thermoelectric consistency to prevent thermal drift.
Non-Magnetic Alloy Pair for Low-Noise Signal Integrity
Both Chromel (EP) and Constantan (EN) legs are non-magnetic, eliminating EMI noise in high-density industrial control and medical environments.

Type E wire provides nearly 50% higher EMF output than Type K and significantly higher output than Type J, making it the preferred choice for applications requiring extreme sensitivity, sub-degree resolution, and low-temperature/cryogenic reliability. Additionally, Type E is non-magnetic, eliminating magnetic field interference common with Type J (Iron leg) or Type K (Alumel leg).
Type E wire excels in oxidizing and inert atmospheres. For vacuum or reducing environments, protective sheathing or ceramic insulation is recommended above 500°C to prevent selective oxidation of the negative leg alloy.
Each master coil is calibrated across multi-point temperature reference baths and tube furnaces against primary laboratory standards. Calibration test certificates detailing deviation curves and exact EMF output (in millivolts) are provided with every industrial shipment.
To prevent snagging, stretching, or surface scratching, 0.2mm wire is precision-level wound onto balanced plastic spools (such as DIN100 or DIN125), sealed in moisture-proof vacuum packaging, and reinforced within export-grade cartons or wooden crates.
