Composed of 19.0%–22.0% Chromium, 5.0%–7.0% Aluminum, micro-alloyed Rare Earth elements, and an Iron balance, 0Cr21Al6 forms a dense, self-healing Alpha-Alumina (Al₂O₃) protective surface layer at elevated temperatures. This oxide barrier delivers superior oxidation resistance, low surface electrical degradation, and high thermal stability up to a maximum continuous service temperature of 1250°C. With a high electrical resistivity of 1.42 μΩ·m and low material density of 7.16 g/cm³, DLX 0Cr21Al6 alloy wire provides high thermal output with reduced overall element weight compared to conventional heating alloys.
