Choosing a fine-wire supplier is a trust decision before it is a price decision. A 0.025 mm wire that arrives off-spec shuts down your line; a purity certificate that does not match the spool becomes a liability in your quality audit. This is why DLX Alloy — a nickel-only mill running since 2002 — publishes its 99.9% N4 chemistry, holds ±0.003 mm on every spool, and ships an EN 10204 3.1 MTC with each batch. One heat, one chemistry, one traceable lot: that is the supply promise behind every kilometre of our wire.
| Diameter | Tolerance | Typical delivery form |
|---|---|---|
| 0.025 mm (ultra-fine) | ±0.003 mm | Spool, continuous length |
| 0.05–0.5 mm | per drawing | Spool, continuous length |
| 0.5–10 mm | per drawing | Coil, continuous length |
Diameter verified by laser gauge across every spool; tolerance on diameters above 0.05 mm is confirmed per drawing before production.
Your supplier should grow with your product. The same nickel-only mill that draws 0.025 mm micro-wire also supplies 10 mm rod — so grade, chemistry and documentation stay consistent as your line scales.
| Diameter band | Typical use | Form |
|---|---|---|
| 0.025 mm | Micro heaters, sensors, fuse links | Spool, continuous |
| 0.05–0.5 mm | Fine instrumentation, wire-wound components | Spool, continuous |
| 0.5–10 mm | Heating elements, fasteners, electrodes | Coil, continuous |
At 0.025 mm, a supplier's process discipline becomes your product's performance. One spool of this wire spans ≈229 m/kg (calculated from density 8.908 g/cm³) and carries ≈196 Ω/m (calculated, resistivity 0.096 μΩ·m) — small deviations become circuit errors, which is why consistency is engineered, not claimed.

Supply reliability is a measurement discipline. Every spool is laser-gauged for diameter and ovality, surface-checked after annealing, and tied to a heat whose composition is locked against the N4 limits. Batches are sampled for tensile, elongation and hardness, and an EN 10204 3.1 MTC is issued on request — the paperwork your auditor expects, before you ask.
Wire is wound on plastic spools under controlled tension to prevent tangling, wrapped in moisture barrier film and packed in export cartons; spool IDs and lot numbers trace back to the heat and melt record. Stock diameters ship in 3–7 days, custom drawing in 15–25 days. Free 0.5 kg samples are dispatched within 3–5 days.
DLX Alloy began in 2002 as a resistance-alloy producer and grew into a full nickel-based alloy mill — pure nickel, NiCr, Monel, Inconel, Hastelloy and high-temperature alloys under one 12,000 m² roof. The through-line of those 20 years is control: in-house melting, rolling, drawing and testing, with ISO9001 and SGS certification and 1,200 tonnes of annual capacity. When you buy 99.9% nickel wire from DLX, you are buying the output of one integrated process chain, not a resold lot.
Factory. DLX Alloy has operated its own nickel-only mill since 2002 — melting, rolling, drawing and testing in-house — with 1,200 t/yr capacity and ISO9001 & SGS certification.
5 kg for all products — small enough to qualify the material and the supplier before you commit volume.
Yes. Free 0.5 kg samples are available for N6 and Ni200 within 3–5 days; N4 and Ni201 samples are charged and refunded with your first order above 50 kg.
EN 10204 3.1 MTC with full chemical composition and mechanical test results per batch, plus spool-level lot traceability back to the heat.
Stock diameters ship in 3–7 days; custom drawing takes 15–25 days depending on specification.
