Every coil follows a controlled eight-step line: raw material selection of high-purity nickel, melting and casting in a controlled environment to prevent contamination, hot rolling to reduce thickness, cold rolling at room temperature, annealing to relieve internal stresses and improve ductility, slitting and cutting to specific widths and lengths, surface treatment through cleaning, polishing or coating, and final quality inspection of purity, thickness, width and mechanical properties.
| Step | Process |
|---|---|
| 1-2 | Raw nickel selection; controlled melting and casting |
| 3-4 | Hot rolling; cold rolling to final thickness |
| 5-6 | Annealing for ductility; slitting and cutting |
| 7-8 | Surface treatment; final inspection (purity, dimensions, mechanics) |

Quality control for strip follows the form, not a generic checklist:
Ni200/Ni201 strip is manufactured and tested to ASTM B162; N4/N6 follow GB/T 2072-2020. Testing methods and acceptance criteria follow the drawing specification and applicable standards.
| Grade | Standard |
|---|---|
| Ni200 / Ni201 | ASTM B162 (Nickel Plate, Sheet and Strip) |
| N4 (NP1) / N6 (NP2) | GB/T 2072-2020 (Nickel and Nickel Alloy Strip and Foil) |
Nickel strip is packaged in rolls with polybag protection and packed into cartons, protecting the surface during transit. Production lead time is 7-15 days after drawing and grade confirmation. Every order ships with the complete export documentation set: packing list, commercial invoice and mill test certificate.
Battery strip is made in the stamping and slitting line as much as in the melt shop. Changzhou DLX Alloy Co., Ltd. equips that line with imported stamping machines, Sodick equipment and a battery-industry mold inventory of more than 2,000 sets, with independent mold development — so 1P-to-9P configurations are stamped clean and consistent. All strip materials are degreased and processed with dry-punching technology to keep the product clean. That equipment base, on a nickel-only 12,000 m² line, is what lets DLX supply battery packs from 18650 to 32700 with reliable, weldable strip.
18650, 21700, 26650, 32650 and 32700 battery packs, with configurations from 1P to 9P and available spaces of 18.5mm, 19mm, 19.5mm and 20.2mm.
