A battery tab is where cell current becomes pack current — and in a 21700 pack, every 1P-4P tab has to carry its share evenly. Our battery tab nickel strip is punched from Ni200/Ni201 pure nickel (≥99.2%/≥99.0% Ni) with low electrical resistivity of 0.096 μΩ·m, in 1P/2P/3P/4P patterns for 21700 cells, with custom widths locked against your drawing. Every batch is made on our own nickel-only line, inspected per batch and shipped with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates — 5 kg MOQ, 7-15 day delivery for standard production.
Tab strip is produced in 1P/2P/3P/4P patterns for 21700 cells, with thickness of 0.05-0.5 mm (hot-sale 0.15/0.2 mm) and battery widths of 2-15 mm. Tab geometry, pitch and tolerances are confirmed against the drawing before production and locked in the batch record.

Tabs carry the pack's current between cells, and geometry decides balance: a tab that is short, narrow or mis-pitched carries more or less than its share. 1P-4P tab geometry is punched to the drawing so every cell sees the same connection.
1P connects a single cell; 2P/3P/4P connect parallel groups. Current splits across the tabs, so consistent geometry keeps the split even — one oversized tab would draw a disproportionate share and age faster.
Weld quality starts at the surface: a clean, burr-free tab gives the weld tip stable contact and consistent current density. Tab surfaces are checked per batch before punching and again after.

Quality control starts at the melt: raw material composition is verified against UNS N02200/N02201 before rolling, then every batch is gauged for tab geometry, thickness, width and surface condition, and checked for burr against the drawing. Batch records link each order back to the melt, and EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates ship with every consignment.

Tab strip is supplied in rolls or cut lengths, edge-protected and moisture-wrapped, then packed in cartons and export wooden cases. Documentation — mill test certificates, batch records and packing lists — accompanies every order. Standard production lead time is 7-15 days from confirmed drawing; small lots are shorter.

Pack balance is decided at the tab: one uneven connection and the whole pack pays. DLX Alloy has run a nickel-only line since 2002 — 12,000 m² of floor space, 10,000 t/yr total capacity, ISO 9001 certified and SGS audited — punching battery tab strip to per-drawing geometry, with per-batch composition analysis and EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates on every shipment.
Submit your drawing and quantity for a confirmed quote — grade, tab geometry and lead time confirmed before production.
A tab strip is pre-punched nickel strip that connects cells to the pack busbar — the physical and electrical bridge between each cell and the pack's current path.
Yes. 1P/2P/3P/4P tab patterns are punched for 21700 cells, with pitch and tab geometry set to the pack layout.
Hot-sale 0.15/0.2 mm within the 0.05-0.5 mm range; thickness is confirmed against the pack's current requirements.
Tab patterns are checked against the drawing per batch for pitch, dimensions and burr, and locked in the batch record.
7-15 days for standard production from confirmed drawing; small lots are shorter.
