At 0.05 mm, a thin strip lives or dies by its tolerance — a few microns of drift changes the whole coil. Our 0.05mm nickel strip at 5 mm width is produced from Ni200/Ni201 pure nickel (≥99.2%/≥99.0% Ni) with low electrical resistivity of 0.096 μΩ·m, in coils or cut lengths per drawing. Start with a free N6/Ni200 sample, confirm the strip on your line, then scale — 5 kg MOQ, 3-7 day delivery for small lots, 7-15 days for standard production.
Strip is produced at 0.05 mm thickness * 5 mm width as specified — the thin end of the catalog range (0.05-0.5 mm * 5-200 mm). Lengths, coil weights and tolerances are confirmed against the drawing before production and locked in the batch record.
At 0.05 mm there is nowhere for tolerance drift to hide: a small variation changes flexibility, surface behaviour and welding response. Thickness is gauged per batch against the drawing, so the coil that arrives matches the coil that qualified the line.
Thin nickel strip serves applications that need flexibility with conductivity — shims and gaskets, electrical contacts, sensing elements and precision components — where the thin cross-section has to stay dimensionally stable.
Thin strip is rolled from nickel of verified composition, then annealed and finished with a clean, burr-free surface. Annealing restores the soft condition that keeps 0.05 mm strip workable in downstream forming.

Quality control starts at the melt: raw material composition is verified against UNS N02200/N02201 before rolling, then every batch is gauged for thickness, width and surface condition, and checked for burr against the drawing. Batch records link each order back to the melt, and EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates ship with every consignment.
Material data on this page follows ASTM B162 and GB/T 2072-2020; corrosion and application guidance references nickel industry literature (Nickel Institute; ASM Specialty Handbook: Nickel, Cobalt, and Their Alloys). Batch-level composition and geometry are verified against mill test certificates (EN 10204 3.1) and in-house inspection records.
Thin strip is wound on coils or supplied in cut lengths, edge-protected and moisture-wrapped to avoid kinking, packed in cartons and export wooden cases. Documentation — mill test certificates, batch records and packing lists — accompanies every order. Small lots ship in 3-7 days; standard production in 7-15 days from confirmed drawing.
Thin strip reveals a mill's discipline faster than any other product: at 0.05 mm there is nowhere for tolerance drift to hide. DLX Alloy has run a nickel-only line since 2002 — 12,000 m² of floor space, 10,000 t/yr total capacity, ISO 9001 certified and SGS audited — rolling thin nickel strip with per-batch composition analysis and EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates on every coil.
