When downhole valves operate thousands of meters beneath the surface, mechanical failure is not an option. Our High Tensile Inconel 718 Spring Wire undergoes precision cold drawing and strict continuous strand annealing to achieve the optimal balance of ultra-high yield strength, ductility, and fatigue endurance.
Unlike standard spring alloys that lose elasticity under thermal and mechanical stress, this specialized high tensile Inconel 718 spring wire maintains its load-bearing capability and spring rate even in cyclic downhole environments containing sour gas, carbon dioxide, and high-salinity brines.

Tailored cold work reduction ensures uniform spring temper with yield strength exceeding 1250MPa, preventing permanent deformation during high-frequency valve cycling.
Retains up to 90% of initial spring load at temperatures reaching 600°C to 650°C (1112°F to 1200°F).
High nickel and molybdenum chemistry provides superior resistance to sulfide stress cracking and chloride-induced pitting in harsh oilfield media.
Cold drawing through multi-die diamond tooling maintains diameter tolerances as tight as ±0.005mm with mirror-smooth, scratch-free surface finishes.
Controlled grain refinement ensures the wire can be cold coiled into complex compression, extension, or torsion springs without micro-fissuring.

Our High Tensile Inconel 718 Spring Wire is the premier material choice for mission-critical components across oilfield exploration, subsea recovery, and industrial high-temperature valves.
Ensures fail-safe closure under ultra-high hydrostatic pressure and sour crude conditions without risk of sudden hydrogen embrittlement.
Provides repeatable opening and closing response cycles in the presence of concentrated CO2, H2S, and injected corrosion inhibitors.
Maintains dynamic sealing force in continuous high-vibration, high-temperature submersible pump assemblies.
Delivers continuous spring force against abrasive slurry flow and sudden pressure surges in deepwater completions.

For cold drawn spring temper wire, direct precipitation aging at 718°C to 730°C for 8 hours followed by furnace cooling to 620°C for a total aging cycle of 18 hours is recommended to achieve maximum strength, fatigue life, and stress relaxation resistance.
While Inconel X-750 is used for moderate spring applications, High Tensile Inconel 718 Spring Wire offers higher yield strength exceeding 1250MPa, vastly superior resistance to sour gas and H2S stress corrosion cracking, and higher stability at elevated temperatures above 550°C.
We supply diameters ranging from 0.20mm up to 12.0mm. Fine wire is supplied on precision plastic spools, while medium to heavy gauge spring wire is packaged in catch-weight coils or payoff packs with heavy-duty export wrapping.
We utilize multi-pass diamond drawing dies with specialized synthetic lubricants, coupled with dual-axis continuous laser diameter gauges and 100% in-line eddy current surface flaw detection.
