FeCrAl Resistance Heating Wire |
0Cr27Al7Mo2 is an iron-chromium-aluminium alloy (FeCrAl alloy) for use at temperatures up to 1400°C (2552°F). The alloy with the characteristics of high resistivity, low temperature coefficient of electric resistance, high operating temperature, good oxidation resistance under high temperature. It can equal to kanthal APM.
In car heaters and defrosters, 0Cr27Al7Mo2 resistance wire is widely used as a heating element. They heat the air inside the car or the windows to eliminate ice and fog, providing a comfortable driving environment and good visibility.
Many cars are equipped with seat heaters to provide heated seats during cold seasons. 0Cr27Al7Mo2 resistance wire is used to heat the surface of the seats, providing a warm and comfortable driving experience.
In certain regions or cold climates, engine block heaters are used to preheat the engine coolant before starting the engine, reducing engine wear and improving starting performance. 0Cr27Al7Mo2 resistance wire can be used as heating elements for engine block heaters.
Some automotive lighting systems utilize heating elements made of 0Cr27Al7Mo2 resistance wire. These elements may include headlights, fog lights, etc., and are used to prevent bulbs or fixtures from icing up and frosting over in cold environments.
In cold climates, the performance of electric vehicle batteries may be affected. Therefore, some electric vehicles are equipped with battery heaters to heat the batteries at low temperatures to improve their performance and longevity. 0Cr27Al7Mo2 resistance wire can be used as heating elements for battery heaters.
