0Cr27Al7Mo2 is an iron-chromium-aluminium alloy (FeCrAl alloy) for use at temperatures up to 1400°C (2552°F). The alloy with the characteristics of high resistivity, low temperature coefficient of electric resistance, high operating temperature, good oxidation resistance under high temperature. It can equal to APM.
In heat treatment equipment, 0Cr27Al7Mo2 resistance wire is commonly used as a heating element to provide the required heating power. By passing current through the resistance wire, it generates heat that is transferred to the workpiece, facilitating the heating stage of the heat treatment process. Due to its high temperature resistance and excellent oxidation resistance, 0Cr27Al7Mo2 resistance wire can operate stably at high temperatures, ensuring the heat treatment equipment provides consistent heating effects.
With its good thermal conductivity, 0Cr27Al7Mo2 resistance wire can evenly transfer heat to the surface of the workpiece, ensuring temperature uniformity during the heat treatment process. This is crucial for heat treatment processes that require precise temperature control to ensure consistent treatment effects on the workpiece.
In some specialized heat treatment processes, corrosive gases or chemicals may be present, placing higher demands on the corrosion resistance of heating elements. Due to its excellent oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, 0Cr27Al7Mo2 resistance wire can operate stably in such environments, maintaining long-term stable heating performance.
