Type J Thermocouple extension wire (JP--Iron, JN-Cu-Ni) is also known as Iron-Constantan thermocouple wire. It is suitable for use in vacuum, oxidizing, inert or reducing atmospheres. The iron element oxidizes rapidly at temperatures exceeding 538°C, making heavier gauge wire recommended for extended service life at elevated temperatures.
Our manufacturing facility specializes in producing various thermocouple compensating wires including type KX, NX, EX, JX, NC, TX, SC/RC, KCA, and KCB for temperature measurement instruments and cables. All products comply with:
These thermocouple compensation cables, often called instrumentation cables, are essential for process temperature measurement. While similar in construction to pair instrumentation cable, they feature specialized conductor materials that match the thermo-electric properties of the thermocouples they connect.
