Precision Alloy Alloy52, also known as FeNi52, is a nickel-iron, low-expansion alloy containing 51% nickel. Precision Alloy has a low coefficient of expansion from cryogenic temperatures to about 260°C. In the dry air at home temperature, as good resistance to corrosion. But in moist air, it may go corrosion.

 

Precision Alloy is suitable for the applications who require low coefficient of expansion, such as production, storage and transportation of liquid gas, temperature regulation devices working below 200°C, aperture mask, unit frameworks working below -200°C and so on.

 

Basic performance: Precision Alloy is divided into low-expansion alloy and fixed-expansion alloy, the latter is also known as sealing alloy. Precision Alloy Expansion alloy besides has the specific thermal expansion coefficient, according to the different USES also requires a good sealing property, weldability and corrosion resistance, machinability and cutting, and in the use of expansion characteristics caused by the temperature range there is no obvious change of phase transformation, Precision Alloy product is commonly bar, sheet, strip, wire and tube and so on.
